The major offered by the school is mainly business, and the school has six colleges.

★ Internship Program Practical career coaching courses and internship programs. SMU places all students on a 12-week internship programme: 10 weeks working for a large company and two weeks volunteering for a charity; Lay the foundation for students' future employment.

 

★ Scholarship Lee Kong Chian Scholars' Programme, full tuition fee + living expenses, 50 places;

SMU Scholars' Programme, S $5,000 per year for 4 years;

Li Ka Shing Endowed Scholarship (S $40,000 / year for 4 years) for Mainland and Hong Kong students;

The Tanoto Scholarship is for Indonesian and Chinese students and includes tuition fees for four years and part of living expenses, and may be required by the donor to work for a designated company for more than six months.

Campus Environment

 

The Singapore Management University (SMU) has designed, integrated and built its campus in the heart of a fully developed cityscape, occupying 4.5 hectares of prime land in the heart of Singapore, surrounded by museums, theatres, educational institutions, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and a range of retail outlets.

 

Its planning and development involved a wide range of professional bodies, communities, citizens and public groups. The goal was to create a unique urban campus designed to cater for future development while remaining connected to the historical roots of this important area.

Application Requirement

★ Master's admission requirements: bachelor degree, average score of 75 or more; Language requirement: IELTS 6.5 (6.0) Or equivalent language achievement.

★ Undergraduate admission requirements: High school graduation, Case by Case assessment of language achievement, academic background, and other experience, based on merit.

SMU has a large number of majors, and different majors have different requirements for applicants' academic background, language scores and work experience. The specific requirements are subject to the consultation results.
