​01 How is the scientific thinking offline camp designed?

This winter vacation, we decided to upgrade the popular science education from online courses to offline camps, extending the online voice communication with the children to the offline face-to-face real interaction, so that the children and teacher Wang Jie study life for five days!

We hope to let children feel the power of core and cutting-edge scientific knowledge in a more interesting and realistic environment, cultivate scientific thinking, and enhance comprehensive ability.

We will adopt the internationally popular Project-based Learning (PBL). PBL is a student-centered teaching method. In the teaching process, special attention is paid to the development of individuals, and to improve children's independent inquiry ability, teamwork ability, communication and expression ability, comprehensive thinking ability, interdisciplinary ability.

The overall design of "The Fire of Civilization · Wangjie Scientific Thinking Camp" is based on the concept of PBL project-based learning. We integrate teaching content and problems, and present them in real and complex situations, so that children can explore ways to solve problems in problem situations, acquire core knowledge and develop scientific thinking in the process of solving problems.
